I talked to the Service Manager today. He said that the part was back from the machine shop and that they were hopeful that it was fixed. I think they Heliarc welded the bolt hole and then re-bored the hole. I don't know positively but that was what they had discussed before I dropped off the truck. He said it should be ready tomorrow afternoon, 24 Sept 15.

I test drove the truck today and it ran fine. I have been experiencing a vibration issue since picking it up, unrelated to the oil leak, and they are going to replace a tire that isn't within the spec when they technician road force balanced it.

The service manager is hopful, so am I, that the oil problem is resolved. I guess we will know after driving it again for a while. I'm hoping to get the truck back on 2 Oct 15.

I wanted to provide an update on my oil leak issue. I'm happy to report that it seems to have been fixed and I think resolved. I have driven the truck about 5k miles since the repair and no leaks.
